Down on the farm at Wallace's Kennel...

It's hard to believe that winter has come and gone once again! Summer is just around the corner, and here at Wallace's Kennel we have been very busy.

Farm living always provides exciting challenges, and this winter was no exception! We survived the big snow storm that hit our area, as well as spring rains, flooding and severe weather.

We continue renovation work on our farmhouse, our daughter Kate is very involved in 4-H and FFA this year, and we have several new animals here on the farm including a new litter of puppies available for our customers.

Please visit our Puppies Available page for the most recent puppy additions! We hope all of our friends and customers have a great summer!

Cyndi Wallace and dachshund family!

My name is Cyndi Wallace, and I live in the Sabina, Ohio area with my husband, Marc, and my daughter, Kate.

Wallace's Kennel is located on a small farm on a rural country road in Clinton County, Ohio, complete with an old farmhouse and barn that my husband is restoring. Our animal family includes fifteen dachshunds, a border collie, Labrador retriever and a chow-mix, forty-two chickens, five cats, two miniature horses, one goat, and two dairy heifers!

I am hands-on with all of my dogs and every puppy. All puppies are whelped in my home. My dogs live in my home and in my air-conditioned/heated kennel that includes clay-brick runs and attached dog yard with room to run, play and exercise. My dogs are seen yearly by my veterinarian -- the same one for over twenty-five years -- for vaccinations and routine examinations. All of my dogs are on heartworm prevention medication and I use flea and tick control from early spring to late fall.

I am a member of the "Iams Select Breeders Club". I am a 4-H advisor of Clinton County Canine Crew, teaching youth to train their dogs in obedience, showmanship, agility, grooming, dog care, and rally obedience. I have completed dog training classes in Agility and Obedience at Big Times Kennel in Centerville, Ohio. I have applied with AKC to become a "Canine Good Citizenship Instructor" and the "Pet Pals" program through the Ohio State Fair 4-H Dog Program. I strive to raise sound, quality puppies that meet or exceed the breed standard. All puppies come with a guarantee: 100% customer satisfaction!
